The body is and always has been a mystery to Hannah. Her interest in the human body began surrounding pain, shifted to movement, and now how the two influence one another- along with everything in between. Accepting that we will never be able to FULLY understand the ever-changing human body helps us open up to multiple possibilities in regards to our experiences, health, and current state.
Nothing in the body works independently. This means that every single system that keeps us alive and well works and communicates with one another to keep us functioning as best as possible. The first step in personalized, impactful treatment is understanding this simple fact. Hannah assesses and treats you as a human being- as a whole, and offer unique services to help you achieve your personal wellness goals to reach your ultimate optimal self.
About Hannah Dano, RMT
Hannah’s passion and curiosity about the human body began by observing how pain could affect one’s ability to function in daily life. She had always been attracted to alternative therapies and modalities to healing, but never fully explored this curiosity until dedicating her time to studying Massage Therapy at Algonquin College (Ottawa, ON). After graduating from the Massage Therapy program with honours in 2019, Hannah decided to pursue her personal passion of yoga and movement in Bali, Indonesia by enrolling in a Hatha / Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training 200hr program. It was here that she truly discovered her love for teaching and sharing the joys of yoga.
Immediately after her YTT, Hannah was guided into breath-work, originally for managing stress. It only took two sessions of breath-work for Hannah to develop the burning desire to learn more about how the breath influences our physiology. Soon after, she trained and earned certification as a Breath Coach.
Hannah is passionate about continuing to learn about the body in as many ways as she can. She also heavily believes in finding and maintaining a balance within the body and within life. The connection between our mind, body, soul, and our external environment continues to fascinate Hannah as she continues to learn and works with others. She believes that with her tools and your willingness to explore your own body, you will begin to deepen your connection of your mind, body, and soul for an enriched life.
